Live-action movie being made of Neon Genesis Evangelion?!?

I think its western society trying to change it into something that america can relate to but personally i dont think it will do that well. theyre trying to turn a masterpiece into a film to make money but neon genesis should stay the way it is because chances are if they change it, it wont be the same fantastic thing it is. transformers wasa a one time thing, if you go back and watch it again i doubt you'll think of it as the same because when everyone first watched it i don't think many had that high expectations for the film but if you consider evangelion i doubt anyone that has ever watched it will have the film live up to their expectations.
