Should I go to college first or go to the air force?

Im really interested in being a para rescue jumper (PJ) for the air force, but i also want to be a firefight in my hometown? i honestly just want to do something to save peoples lives, and these both are amazing and fulfilling jobs. i could really use your opinions, thanks =)
