Are white feathers really symbolic of guardian angels?

I ask because I keep my home spotless, but on Easter and then today I found a total of 4 white feathers. I don't have anything with feathers in them, no pillows or blankets or anything. I own absolutely nothing that these could have fallen out of. My windows were closed and once again, I keep my home clean. Where could these white feathers have come from. I've had a couple of friends and my fiance look at them, and everyone agrees they're real and came off of something. We just can't figure out what. I've been doing a lot of praying lately. I'm not a religious person at all and refuse to follow any organized form of religion because there are way too many contradictions and inconsistencies in all "holy" books for me to take them seriously. I'm not an atheist, either. I have been doing my own version of praying in regards to my children, because their father and I are in a very big custody battle. He is violent, abusive in all ways except ually, and has neglected them. He has violated custody orders, kidnapped them, and all of that good stuff. The best part is that he is Pakistani and is furious that the "property" he had got sick of his behavior and left, built up a new life, started a family, and hasn't looked healthier or happier since he's known her. I also find it hard to believe that these feathers came out of nowhere and have been looking high and low in my place to figure out where they could have possibly come from and keep coming from. Help?
