Do apple/black mystery snails burrow into the sand?

i have a sand substrate aquarium and was trying to get malaysian trumpet snails for my tank so that they could stir up my sand a little and keep it aerated but i couldnt find them anywhere so i just bought some black mystery snails, and im just wondering if they would do the same job as the MTS would.
