I need help writing a song?

I am writing a song and I'm stuck! I have the chorus and a possible middle eight. I need at least one verse! My chorus starts off as being about missing winter (missing flowing rivers, snow, rain) and then it says that 'I miss the pain of a heartache, at winter'. Can anyone think of a possible storyline, or even a line or section for a verse. My chorus is really strong, but I can't really think of a scenario where someone would miss the pain of a heartache! Any ideas???
