Kansas jayhawk help please!!!!?

okay for my homework i need to find info. on the kansas jayhawks basketball team and i am having the most difficult time ever. can someone help because it's really late and i am super tired. i need help finding their key players(like 3 of them), why they chose their mascot, and conference records. i know this is my homework and i should do it but i have been trying and i can't figure it out. also, please if you help give me the link you got the info. from (NO WIKIPEDIA).!! omg thank you.
