Who could marry a couple, if we've already been married by the Justice of the Peace?

Me and my now husband were married in January by the JOP, even though our original wedding date was this november. reason was, last minute we were told he was going to deploy for 8 months overseas. He didn't want me to live alone(or be without military coverage if something were to happen medically or financially) , so we decided to get married then and i could move into base housing, but still have the actual wedding in november. Will a pastor or any other officiant "re-marry" us, even though we are already married? (he has not been an active Christian for awhile and i recently broke away Catholicism.)
